TALOS TRANSMISSION ELECTRON MICROSCOPE

The Talos transmission electron microscope makes the machine's performance more stable by separating the operator and the machine in different rooms. The TEM is equipped with four X-ray detector to collect X-rays more efficiently. It can perform  three-dimensional reconstruction of materials in transmission, scanning transmission,   and energy spectrum modes. The magnetic properties of the material can be  characterized in Lorentz mode or by differential phase contrast. In addition, electronic  holography can be used to characterize the field emission properties of the material.The transmission electron microscope operates at 200 kV.
